In this clip Im reading Siddhartha and catching myself in the exact trap Hesse names.

The seeker only sees the thing he’s hunting. Because hes obsessed with the goal, he cant absorb what’s already under his nose. Seeking means having a goal. Finding means being free enough to receive.

I say out loud: I want a business idea — what do I build? Then I look at the AI agent I already made to mine connections from books I’ve read, and I still ask: is that it? I want to build something else.

Founder translation: the hunt for the perfect product idea keeps you blind to the work already in your hands. You keep seeking the next pitch while the real company is the thing you’ve already started shipping — if youd stop treating it like a temporary experiment.

Stop seeking the idea. Build the thing under your nose.
