In this clip I’m reading Rework on throwing less at the problem.

Jason Fried and DHH: failing restaurants put thirty dishes on the menu thinking more options will broaden appeal. It makes the food worse. Gordon Ramsay’s first move is almost always to trim the menu — usually from thirty to ten. When things aren’t working, the natural move is more people, more time, more money. That makes the problem bigger. The right move is the opposite. Cut back. Do less.

Founder translation: most stuck weeks get “fixed” by adding scope — another feature, another hire, another tool. That spreads the same weak attention thinner. Trim the menu. Pick the one dish you can actually cook well this week and ship that. Adding budget and pushing deadlines forever is how you never finish.

Throw less at the problem.
