My mission is to bring awareness to the energies running our psyche and the unconscious.

Not to make anyone look bad.

I have a Jewish mother. Just like Michael Moritz. For a long time she could still find fault in everything I did and not one ounce of praise. It took years to learn to value myself.

That work was constant learning about myself and psychology, and the help of the plants to see deeper into the subconscious.

Michael Moritz is successful on the outside. What stuck with me is this: he never feels finished. There is always more to do. Which is not a bad thing in itself. But it's important to know what really drives him.

When he talks about his mother he laughs and plays with his hands. That is coping. Underneath it is pain. The heavy breathing is a body that is not at ease.

These are the people and the energies that run our society. Patterns pass on. You can end up with a psyche that never rests.

This is where my two decades of plant medicine and psychology come in.

I was like this. The solution is to rewire yourself. Psychedelics — ayahuasca, mushrooms, peyote, DMT, cannabis used with intention — helped me work through what was passed on to me.

The reward: a loving and loyal family - wife, kids, pets. As well as confidence and the ability to read people and the room.

The tradeoff: All on my mother’s side still hate me for naming what I saw. They think I’m a drug addict. I can live with that. You never get the boy out of the man — unless you do the work.
